I am fundraising for the Salvation Army! Kathy and I have made a team for this years MOST Amazing Race, and we need sponsors. All the money donated goes to giving food and shelter to those without it in the Twin Cities. This fundraiser is patterned off of the TV show, but better because it helps society rather than vegetizes them.
Plus, if we get into the final race I will have some good stories to post! And if we win, we get $5000 dollars. We probably won’t win, but still, if you donate you will be doing a doubly good thing: feeding and housing the homeless and sponsoring our awesome team, 40 Horns and the Tooter. Our initial goal is to raise $500 as a team, but we hopefully will break the top off thermometer!

The only thing about this entire endeavor that I don’t support is that, once a person donates, they tell you that you can close your browser by “[clicking] on the ‘X’ in the upper right-hand corner of your internet browser.” I’m on a Mac! Ain’t no “X” up there, peeps. Their web guy needs to get his head outta that outdated, Windows-centric world. 😉
