Well, it’s been awhile, hasn’t it? I’m going to ramble about technology for a minute (something I seem to be able to do any minute of any day). Yesterday, Apple announced the next major release of Mac OS X (codenamed "Panther") that is due out by year’s end, a new version of iChat that does audio and video chats, a new Apple-made monitor-mounted camera called iSight, and a bunch of other stuff. I’m quite excited about it. I’m at WWDC today so I took a few pictures. Enjoy!

I read this snippet today over at As the Apple Turns (go check it out, that site is hilarious) and thought I had to share. Apparently Microsoft is going to start making anti-virus software. Here’s what AtAT had to say:

…let’s face it: trusting Microsoft to come up with something that actually stops viruses instead of inviting them in for free beer and a Shiatsu massage is tantamount to hiring a certified pyromaniac to fireproof your valuable collection of antique matches and oily rags.

Wow. So absolutely dead on.

Just so it’s clear, this page is by no means finished at the time of this writing. I’m still testing a lot of things, determining layout and styles, etc. I just wanted to say that in case someone thought that they were looking at my final design. How embarrassing…
